Case studies

What they ran before. What we built. What changed.

We have built platforms across a range of industries, and we specialise in manufacturing and wholesale distribution. What follows are examples of the work: real businesses, real numbers, in their own words. No invented metrics and no logos we haven't earned. Every figure on these pages came from the person who runs the business.

Read these as examples of the work, not as our whole market

We build custom operations platforms, and we have built them for businesses in a range of industries. Manufacturing and wholesale distribution is what we specialise in, and it is what most of this site is written for.

Toomey NC is that work. A CNC shop making billet performance parts, two machines, and a bill of materials that lived in one person's head. It is also the shortest answer we have to "how long does this actually take": live on real jobs at the end of week two.

The second is from allied health. It's here because the problem underneath it is the one we see on factory floors wearing different clothes: a stack of systems that were never designed to talk to each other, and a third of the working week disappearing into the joins between them. Swap the words and it's the manufacturer running Cin7, three spreadsheets and a whiteboard.

It is also the clearest evidence we have of the thing hardest to prove on a website: how fast a change actually lands once you are live. One business day, in their words rather than ours.

What we build for manufacturers specifically.

Featured Case study · Precision manufacturing

The whole business was running out of one man's head.

Toomey NC · CNC machining, billet performance parts · Queensland

A CNC shop growing faster than the systems holding it together, which was a problem because there weren't any. The bills of materials, the part numbers and the reorder points lived in the owner's memory, so nobody could quote, order or hire without him. Off-the-shelf wanted fifty to sixty thousand to implement, plus a subscription every year after.

Nine systems. None of them built to talk to each other.

Firm Foundation OT · NDIS occupational therapy · Mobile across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula

A mobile occupational therapy practice running on nine separate industry softwares, none of them designed to work together, and $2,000 to $3,000 a month in subscriptions. Instead of buying a tenth tool to manage the other nine, they replaced all of them with one platform they now own outright.

More on the way

More manufacturing case studies are being written now.

Several builds are live and we're working through the write-ups with each client, because we won't publish a word about a business without their sign-off on it first.

They follow the same shape as the ones above: what they ran before, what broke, what we built, what changed, and the numbers to go with it.

Live on this page by the end of August 2026.

Want to be told when they land? Ask on the demo call and we'll send them across. No mailing list, no follow-up forever.

What we hear in almost every first call.

Until there are more case studies on this page, this is the honest version of proof: the things operators actually say to us, unedited.

  • Reporting means exporting to Excel and rebuilding the dashboard in Power BI.

  • We've got eight licences and some days that's not enough.

  • It's a good system. It's just clunky, and it doesn't do what we actually need.

  • We were quoted $50,000 and six months, so we didn't do it.

Every one of these is from a real conversation with an Australian manufacturer this year.
